ABOUT ME | AZELIA MAYNARD

I am a creative director, brand specialist and creative communicator. I have been a visual creative designer now for more than 15 years, working across in-house, agency and public sector environments. I have created and led teams, managed clients and key stakeholders, provided mentoring and guidance. I have a deep understanding of branding, and an instinctual response to design. By taking an holistic and strategic approach to a businesses visual landscape I drive insightful quality outcomes that benefit businesses and their people.

I am a naturally big picture solutions focused creative, that can drop right down into the detail when needed. I believe effective design can be created in any platform; my decks are as well crafted as my long documents or infographics and digital assets. As a visual storyteller with an English degree I will always advocate for imagery that enhances the message. I love being hands-on and growing projects from ideation into reality. I am calm under pressure, quite the empath, and lacking in excessive ego. I just love it when a good idea can look great too. I craft consultative, intelligent design solutions to meet creative challenges. I support and enable design solutions which solve business problems.
